This year, A. Le Coq celebrates the 90th anniversary of its beloved Traditional Lemonade and invites everyone to explore the colourful journey of Lemonade through the decades. An exhibition dedicated to Lemonade is open at the A. Le Coq gift shop.

Lemonade/Limonaad is much more than just a soft drink – it is a part of Estonia’s tastes, memories, and everyday culture. The exhibition tells the 90-year story of Lemonade and, through the example of one beloved beverage, showcases changes in production, packaging design, and consumer habits.

The display introduces the origins of the drink, the evolution of its bottles and labels, and the significance of Lemonade for different generations – from the classic Lemonade to Limpa, who became the recognizable face of the beverage in the 2000s.

It is a story of flavour, design, and memories that continue to live on both in the history of the brewery and in people’s personal stories.

“Lemonade is not just a beverage – it is part of the shared memories and summer moments of people across Estonia. Its 90th anniversary is an extraordinary milestone that we want to celebrate together with the people of Tartu and all lemonade lovers, right where the story of our Lemonade feels most at home – in Tartu,” said Mari-Liis Õunapuu, Communications Manager at A. Le Coq.

The exhibition is open at the A. Le Coq gift shop from Tuesday to Friday, 11:00–18:00, and on Saturdays from 11:00–17:00. Admission is free of charge.

Traditional Lemonade has been a continuous part of A. Le Coq’s portfolio for 90 years, and its taste has become a symbol of childhood, summer, and shared moments for many Estonians. This emotional value, connecting generations, is at the heart of the anniversary celebrations.
