Eivo Plans – Beverage Picker
What does your job entail?
I enjoy my job as a beverage picker. In our logistics center, my task is to pick A. Le Coq’s products for customers in Estonia. I place the products on pallets in the correct order to ensure stability and ensure that the ordered products reach the customer correctly.
We use voice picking, which means that the computer provides instructions on which products to place on the pallet. First, the products that can withstand more weight are placed on the pallet – the computer instructs us to start with those products, and they are also positioned towards the front of the warehouse. I have to ensure that I take the correct product and the correct quantity. Each product has its own numerical combination. Once the customer’s pallet is fully picked, the address is added, and it is taken to the dispatch area. From there, the driver delivers the products to the customer.

In spring, summer, and autumn, I enjoy being in the countryside – I have a country home in the Palamuse area, and there’s always something to do there. I brew homebrew beer a couple of times a year and make wine/cider from the fruits of my garden, which I enjoy sharing with friends. And if I have any spare time left, I like to go on trips with my family.
