For the 30th time, the Estonian Food Association (Eesti Toiduliit) has recognised the best domestic food products. The awards for the best food products of the year were handed over at the annual conference by the wife of the President of the Republic Sirje Karis, the Minister of Regional Affairs Madis Kallas, the head of the Food Union Sirje Potisepp and the chairman of the Food Union council Veljo Ipits.

The gold title of the Best Estonian Non-Alcoholic Drink 2024 went to A. Le Coq Aura Cherry-banana-mango Supersmuuti with barley grass.

“The smoothie represents the trend towards quick consumption – small packaging, convenient to use as a nutritious snack – which has caught the eye of the jury in this year’s competition,” commented Rain Kuldjärv, chairman of the jury.

“We are delighted that Aura has won three best non-alcoholic beverage titles in the last four years – 2021 Aura super smoothie with mango-banana and beetroot, 2023 Aura organic unfiltered apple juice and now 2024 again Aura super smoothie with cherry-banana-mango and barley grass. This shows that our product development is highly appreciated and at the highest level, both by the panel of experts and by consumers,” said Katrin Vernik, Marketing Director of A. Le Coq, delighted with the recognition.

The organic-flavoured smoothie is high in fibre and has added vitamin C. The smoothie has a 96% juice content and no added preservatives or sugar. The packaging is made mainly from renewable materials and is easy to sort for recycling. The product is also suitable for vegans. A great choice for a refreshing breakfast or a refreshing snack.

Our winter beer Le Coq Winter Stout was also singled out as one of the best alcoholic beverages. Le Coq Winter Stout is a richly flavoured dark surface-fermented beer with pistachio nut notes and a slightly sweet taste with Madagascan vanilla extract.
