Sustainable use of water
The beverage industry is a water-intensive sector, which is why the sustainable use of water, as well as other natural resources, and reducing our water consumption are an important part of our operations.
To make our water use more efficient, we continuously invest in technologies that optimize the production process and reduce water consumption.
In 2022, we established a technological wastewater treatment system that separates solid organic matter from the wastewater generated during production and converts it into biogas. In addition to producing biogas, the system also significantly purifies the plant’s wastewater. We also collect and divert rainwater into a separate stormwater collector. Through these efforts, we are reducing the burden on the city’s water system.
