Competition Authority approves A. Le Coq–Värska Originaal transaction; completion currently pending

On 16 April, the Competition Authority published approval for the transaction concluded last year between the Estonian beverage producer A. Le Coq and Värska Originaal, under which A. Le Coq plans to acquire 100% of the shares of Värska Originaal.

Despite the approval granted by the Competition Authority, completion of the transaction has been temporarily suspended, as one company has submitted an application to the Administrative Court for the application of interim legal protection. The Administrative Court has granted interim legal protection and has temporarily suspended the validity of the approval.
