The Ready-to-Drink (RTD) cocktail range by A. Le Coq, Estonia’s largest beverage producer, has been named best in its category in Portugal for the third year in a row. The prestigious “Cinco Estrelas” (Five Stars) award, based on independent consumer evaluations, confirms the company’s consistent quality and strong market position.
The “Cinco Estrelas” label is one of Portugal’s most respected consumer-driven quality marks. To receive the award, products undergo a thorough and independent evaluation process based on five key criteria: overall quality, consumer satisfaction, trust, innovation, and price-quality ratio.
Steady Success in a Competitive Market
The 2026 evaluation process highlights the significance of the award and the increasing competition in the region. This year, a record 362,100 Portuguese consumers participated in the study, evaluating a total of 1,276 brands—an increase of over 8% compared to the previous year. In the Food & Beverage sector, only 19 brands met the high standards required for the distinction, with Le Coq once again securing the win in the RTD cocktail category.
Securing the top spot for three consecutive years demonstrates a commitment to maintaining a consistently high standard. While the initial awards marked a successful entry into a new market, this year’s result confirms that the Le Coq brand has become a trusted and preferred choice for Portuguese consumers.
