Estonia’s largest beverage manufacturer, A. Le Coq, has once again claimed the top spot in Äripäev’s 2025 ranking of the country’s leading beverage producers. The company’s recognition comes from its strong performance in three key areas: responding to health trends, expanding exports, and maintaining profitability.

Once primarily associated with beer, A. Le Coq has shifted its growth focus to non-alcoholic beverages. In 2024, this segment grew by 6%, driven in part by energy drinks enriched with vitamins and minerals. Despite challenges in the domestic market, exports rose 12%, with gross export profit up 26%.

“In a challenging economic environment, we stayed focused and successfully executed our strategic plans. We restructured our portfolio and concentrated on product lines that deliver greater value to consumers,” said Jaanus Vihand, CEO of A. Le Coq.

In 2024, the company invested €5 million in modernizing its bottling lines and developing the Reola production facility. Even larger investments are planned for 2025, including upgrading the glass line and implementing international food safety standards.

Beyond product development and export growth, A. Le Coq actively supports the community. The company was a main sponsor of Tartu 2024 European Capital of Culture and backed more than 80 cultural projects, including the creation of the specialty drinks Lust and Lillepidu. It also invests in sports and initiatives promoting physical activity.
