A. Le Coq launched a porter with spices for Christmas

Estonian leading beer brewer A. Le Coq launched a special dark porter beer called Vürtsporter for the holiday season, the special beer is flavored with spices such as cardamom, nutmeg, coriander and cinnamon.

A. Le Coq manager Tarmo Noop said that the company has produced seasonal special beers throughout the years, however the special recipe Christmas porters have been the most popular. "On the one hand we try to keep up the Christmas beer tradition but on the other hand we try to offer new and exciting flavors for every year," said Noop. "This year we worked out a spice bouquet that is suitable for dark porter that adds to the beer a Christmassy cinnamon, cardamom and nutmeg aroma and flavor," described Noop.
Noop said that the new product Vürtsporter goes well with meat dishes but is also perfect with deserts. "Vürtsporter is definitely a dignified and suitable drink for every holiday feast," said Noop.
A. Le Coq Vürtsporter is a dark porter type beer with the alcohol consistence of 6%. Beer will be available in 0.5 Liter class bottles and as four pack. Products approximate retail price will be 11.90 - 12.90 kroons.
