Aura Water – Estonian Quality Water from 410 Metres Below
Nearly 90% of our bodies are water, which is why drinking water is as important to us as breathing. Water is your primary beauty product that must be pure and of high quality.
Aura Blueberry water is drawn from the bowels of the earth in South Estonia, from the Ordovician stratum 410 metres below. This crystal clear and pure water is a perfect thirst quencher and has a delicious berry taste.
The Ordovician stratum was formed 505 million years ago and because of that, this water stratum is protected from all possible external factors and is rich in natural minerals.
In Estonia, the earth comprises seven main groundwater strata, which are, beginning from the latest: Quaternary, Upper Devonian, Devonian, Silurian, Ordovician, Cambrian, and Precambrian. Compared to the ground level, the depth of groundwater strata varies in different regions of Estonia. In North Estonia, for instance, the Ordovician stratum is located at 30-60 metres below ground level, yet in South Estonia, the same stratum is at 400 metres below ground level.
The water strata that emerge on the ground, such as Lake Ülemiste, are fed by rainwater and are thus directly influenced by human activity and pollution. The water strata located below are fed by the water of the upper strata where the water does not change as fast as it does in lakes. Yet in those water strata that remain at 300-400 metres below, groundwater is fed very slowly and the water supply located there is virtually non-renewable. So the deeper from the earth water is drawn, the cleaner and more protected it is against all external factors.
